This is a mask I made a year back. It was my attempt to bring my character into life. The mask is a paper mache project. The shadows were added with ink and the stripes were added on with acrylic. To be able to wear the mask, I attached strings which I colored red with fabric marker and taped with black colored ink.
Isn't this cool?! I'm always interested in Japanese culture, including Kabuki Masks. I hope to some day to create something this cool or at least make my mask a lot more better. This is my goal and hopefully I reach it. You can find this mask on pinterest, so go check it out.
