Chinese and Japanese time!!!

This piece is called the Dance of the colored Koi. I created the background with black, red and blue acrylic paint. The fish is created with a special paper that traced a outline of a koi fish one. After cutting out the Koi fish, I sprayed it with red and yellow ink on one cutout and blue and yellow on the other cutout. Then I did the detail with a quill and ink, finishing off with a B Pitt artist pen. Then yin yan symbol was done the same way with a little more colors. (Although, I think I should of let it black and white) Then everything was glued on and my signature was put to the bottom right.

This piece is called the Floating haven of Chi Dao. This was first drawn with a 8h pencil and then was traced with a S Pitt artist pen and a Sx artist pen for smaller detail. The island with colored with dark brown, light brown and cold grey rose art color pencils. Then yellow green was used for vines. The sails on the red ships was done with a rose art color pencil and a B, pink carmine Pitt artist pen. The yellow was done with a yellow-orange rose art color pencil and a B, Dark chrome yellow. The green was done with a green olive Pitt artist pen and a green color pencil. The sky is done with light blue and the clouds are made with could grey and dark grey.
